“Dentistry in the wilderness, inspiring!”
– WEM19 attendee
We are super lucky to have a tonne of fantastic faculty who teach on our courses all around the globe, but our favourite time of year is when they descend on Edinburgh and provide some world-class teaching for our delegates – and there is no dentist we look forward to seeing more than Burjor Langdana!
Burj has worked all over the world, having served as a consultant dentist at the British Antarctic Survey Medical Unit, a VSO dentist in Malawi and as part of the Mobile Surgical Services in New Zealand.
He’ll be teaching each day, running a couple of his hugely popular ‘Expedition Dentistry’ workshops that allow participants to learn the basics of what Burj calls the ‘dark art’ of providing dental care in remote environments, as well as an immersive lecture on how to tackle facial trauma whilst on expedition – these sessions are not to be missed!
Who: Burjor Langdana
What: Expedition Dentistry (Day 1 and 2) and Facial Injury on Expedition! Dislocated Jaw Joint! What Do I Do? (Day 3)
Where: Boardroom (Day 1 and 2) and Salisbury Suite (Day 3)
