Roger is an experienced Emergency Medicine consultant sub-specialising in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.  Currently, his main role is with the International Committee of the Red Cross based in their HQ in Geneva.  As the HQ EM specialist, he provides the technical guidance and leadership for ICRC emergency care globally.

His humanitarian experience covers capacity building and responding to conflict, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural disasters in his current position and other roles including as a member of the UK Government’s official Emergency Medical Team responding to medical humanitarian disasters across the world. In his spare time he has provided medical support to expeditions, ultra-marathons and TV/Film projects across the seven continents.
