Jo Bradshaw is an Expedition Leader, Outdoor Instructor and Public Speaker. She lives in Salisbury and works around the UK and globally, mainly on specific mountains in Tanzania, Nepal, Russia and South America. Jo has led nearly 100 expeditions at altitude with adults and students, including 34 on Kilimanjaro and over 25 in Nepal, as well as instructing and assessing DofE students in the UK with her trusty 4 legged companions.
Jo has completed 6 of the 7 summits, some multiple times, and is fundraising for children’s mental health charity Place2Be as part of her challenge. Everest is part of that 6 and she survived the earthquake which shook Nepal in 2015, being at Camp 1 on Everest at the time.
Jo is passionate about encouraging people to make the most out of their lives. As a former no saying, height hating, comfort loving sofa surfing Business Advisor who gradually turned her life around with the encouragements of a few champions, people who believed she could do more, Jo wants to instil this belief in more of us.
High and cold are Jo’s comfort zones, she never thought they would become her ‘normal’.
