Speaking on Day:
Rosie and Charlie, otherwise known as the Emergensea Girls, are two Extreme Medicine MSc Fellowship students who are taking on one of the most extreme challenges on the planet – the 2020 Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, otherwise known as the world’s toughest rowing race, all in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
During the race, they’ll also be conducting original research into women and endurance sports as part of their MSc in Extreme Medicine.
The pair have their sights set on smashing the current women’s pairs record, aiming to reach Antigua in under 50 days.
