Originally from the sunny island of Singapore, Chris now lives in the outdoor city, Sheffield, just next to the Peak District. He works as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at the Northern General Hospital which is the regional Major Trauma Centre South Yorkshire. He has a strong interest in point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and loves teaching people that shades of grey are not all bad. He loves sticking needles into body parts with ultrasound as a guide.
Chris has splitboarded in the Alps and the Arctic Circle and is still waiting for the day when a snowboarding company will spot his talent. For some reason, that has yet to happen. He also loves a bike ride in either road or mountain form. He is also still waiting for the perfect handheld ultrasound machine that replaces his stethoscope to arrive on his doorstep.
